A decade ago, the idea of looking good was taking hours in the morning. But now you can look your best in under ten minutes. There are many tricks to make it easier for you to look great and feel confident in only 10 minutes.
In order to get your getting ready beauty routine down to under ten minutes, it’s recommended to time your self, so you know how much time you have left, allowing you to prioritise your favourite parts of your getting ready routine. Getting ready is my favourite part of the day, so I always try to enjoy the getting ready process.
10-Minute Makeup Routine for a Flawless Face
Have you ever thought of the time you spend in front of the mirror to do your makeup every morning? Well, it could be a lot less than that because lately there are many makeup products that can be used in just ten minutes.
The popular makeup items that fall into this category are: lip balms, tinted lipsticks, stick or cream eyeliners, and water-based mascara. All these products are easy to use and give you a great look without spending too much time in front of the mirror.
This is one of the most important steps in your 10-minute makeup routine. No matter what you’re doing, whether it’s going for natural, glowy skin or something more dramatic, you’ll need foundation. The best thing to do when applying foundation is using a brush for an even application and then blending it into the skin with your fingers or a sponge if you prefer a more natural look.
If there are any spots on your face that you don’t want people noticing, concealer is always necessary! Just make sure that you have a shade which matches you well, so you don’t have to spend ages blending it out.
Lip & Cheek Tint
A lip and cheek tint is a great product for a ten-minute makeup routine because it adds colour, moisture, and softens the look of your lips. You can apply one coat in ten seconds or build up to four coats to intensify the colour.
A loose setting powder is a product that can be used to set makeup and avoid a cakey or powdery look. It can also be used to reduce oil on the face. Loose powders are best for dry skin types because they absorb excess oils quickly.
Brow gels can be applied in a matter of seconds, making it the perfect beauty product for a quick makeup routine. It can be used to set the eyebrows in place and give them a natural look.
Once you have your hair and makeup done, finish up any last-minute touches you want before throwing on your clothes. This will help you prioritize what needs to happen first so that the rest of your morning goes smoothly.
If you know what style of clothes work best for you (and which ones don’t), then there’s no need to spend time browsing through racks of clothes that may not suit your body.
All of these tips should help you get ready faster. Remember that the goal is not to spend a lot of time getting ready, but instead find a system that will save you time.
